Mbaise USA Inc during her 2009 convention in New York City resolved to institute a micro lending finance scheme for rural development in Mbaise. Micro loans have proven to be a sustainable vehicle for economic development for people without collateral, steady employment and sufficient credit history in many parts of the developing world. The organization is committed to helping eradicate poverty in Mbaise by offering access to credit, training and management for Mbaise people.
 
What is a micro-lending?
Micro-lending is a small business credit facility that offers loans to hardworking women and men to lift themselves out of poverty. For instance, a microloan could help a widowed mother increase the inventory in her small store. She can then earn enough through her small business to support her family and repay the microloan. Afterward, that microloan is recycled and becomes available to help another entrepreneur. The cycle continues!
 
Microloans fight extreme poverty.
As microloan recipients start or grow their businesses, they earn money to feed their children, send them to school, buy healthcare and save funds for the future. When a microloan is used to expand a business and hire additional employees, the entire community gets an economic boost. Once repaid and recycled, microloans can help chains of families lift themselves out of poverty.
